Kerala cost killing : Italy move Supreme Court for Salvatore GironeNew Delhi: The Italian government on Monday moved the Supreme Court seeking permission for Sergeant Salvatore Girone, who is on bail in the case relating to killing of two fishermen off Kerala coast, and staying in the capital to go back to his country till the disposal of the dispute by the International Tribunal set up under the United Nations Convention on Laws of Seas (UNCLOS).

Accepting a similar stand the apex court on April 26 had extended till September 30 the stay in Italy of marine Chief Master Massililano Lattore, who went to Italy for medical treatment.
